SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE

Their advanced overhead suspension magnets are capable of separating harmful tramp from bulk material at very high belt speeds (≤ 7.5 m/s), through deep burdens and at large working distances of up to 1 metre. 

VARIOUS CONFIGURATIONS

Depending on the application, Steinert produces powerful electromagnets or lighter permanent magnets, as well as cost effective mains power units.

CLEANING OPTIONS

Self cleaning magnets are typically used where the frequency of tramp metal is high. Manual cleaning magnets require a trolley to be moved to a dump position away from the conveyor and require less maintenance. All magnet models (Electro, permanent and MP magnets) can be supplied as manual or self cleaning.

Steinert are the market leader for tramp iron magnets in Australia with almost all coal and iron ore produced in Australia passing under their magnets at some point.

 

Each magnet is fabricated to order and can be despatched within 4 to 12 weeks (depending on the type of magnet package) from their Melbourne factory.

Magnets are often used in combination with metal detectors in numerous configurations to optimise tramp removal and detection while optimising production up-time and equipment protection.
